Swimming FAQs
Is the pool heated?
Yes! Our pool is heated for a comfortable swimming experience all summer.
How do I register for private or group swim lessons?
Most swim lessons are only open to members, although some group lessons and swim team are also available to non-members. Email pool@guilfordracquet.com for availability.
Are lifeguards on duty?
Yes, all swimming activities are supervised by certified lifeguards.
What should I bring to swim lessons?
- Swimsuit & towel
- Non-glass refillable water bottle
- Swim goggles (recommended)
- Sunscreen
What are the dedicated lap swim hours?
Lap swimming is available for members at designated times:
- Tuesday: 7:00-8:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:00-9:00 AM
- Sunday: 8:00-11:00 AM
Summer Camp FAQs
What ages can attend GRSC Summer Camp?
Camp is for children ages 4-12.
What are the camp hours?
Camp runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
What activities are included?
Campers enjoy:

Do I need to be a member to sign up for camp swim lessons?
All campers can enjoy swim lessons which can be booked in advance through camp registration.
How do I register?
Registration opens January 13, 2025 for members and February 10, 2025 for non-members. Submit completed applications to camp@guilfordracquet.com.
Is lunch provided?
Lunch is available for an additional $50 per week. Campers should still bring snacks.
What should my child bring to camp?
- Sunscreen
- Towel
- Bathing suit
- Non-glass refillable water bottle
- Snacks
- Sneakers
- Tennis racquet
- Swim goggles
What is the cancellation policy?
- Cancellations require at least 2 weeks’ notice for a refund.
- Refunds will be less a 10% administration fee unless transferring to another week.
- The 10% fee is waived for changes before April 1st—no exceptions after.
